Prof. Xiaoxin Zhou
中国科学院院士

Bio: 周孝信教授,1940年4月出生于山东省蓬莱市,是电力系统领域的杰出专家。他是教授级高级工程师、中国科学院院士、美国国家工程院外籍院士及电气电子工程师学会(IEEE)终身会士。他还担任中国电力科学研究院名誉院长及博士生导师。 1965年,周教授毕业于清华大学电机工程系。1979年7月至1980年7月,他在加拿大Hydro-Québec研究所(IREQ)进修。回国后,他在电力科学研究院担任多个重要职位,包括工程师、副院长、系统研究所所长及研究院总工程师。1993年,他当选为中国科学院院士,1995年成为IEEE会士,2021年当选为美国国家工程院外籍院士。 周教授致力于电力系统分析的数学建模和分析方法的研究。自20世纪70年代起,他领导开发了中国首套综合性电力系统分析软件,该软件在全国电力系统中得到广泛应用。20世纪90年代,周教授开始研究柔性交流输电系统(FACTS),并领导了超高压输电系统可控串补等重大项目。他的工作大大推动了电力电子和现代控制理论在电力系统中的应用,以满足未来的发展需求。他参与并领导了多个中国超高压输电系统重大项目的关键技术研究,为中国首条330千伏超高压输电线和首条±500千伏高压直流输电线等项目提出并实施了新的仿真模型、分析方法及关键技术。 周教授已发表160多篇学术论文,著有7本科学技术书籍。截至2020年1月,他发表的论文中有110多篇被EI和SCI收录。周教授负责过多项重大研究项目,包括1990年代末国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)子项目,研究基于高速PC网络支持的多机电力系统实时仿真系统的关键技术。2004年至2009年,他担任973项目“大规模互联电网运行可靠性提高”的首席科学家。周教授的贡献获得了广泛认可,荣获多个奖项,包括一次全国科学大会奖、三次国家科技进步一等奖和一次全国优秀科技图书一等奖。周教授被认为是中国现代电力系统分析与计算领域的先驱。

Prof. Youmin Zhang
Concordia University, Canada

Bio: Youmin Zhang (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in automatic control from the Department of Automatic Control, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 1983, 1986, and 1995, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering & Concordia Institute of Aerospace Design and Innovation (CIADI), Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He has authored 12 books and more than 700 journal and conference papers with high citations at Google Scholar (with more than 35,500 citations, an h-index of 93, and an i10-index of 475) and ScholarGPS etc. He has been ranked at ScholarGPS in Lifetime #1 globally on both “Aircraft Systems” and “Fault Tolerance” specialties, and #2 globally on “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle” specialty. He has also been consistently listed in Stanford’s “World’s Top 2% Scientists” since its first list in 2020 in both "Career" and "Single Year" and was selected as a 2025 “Highly Cited Researcher” by Clarivate. His current research interests include fault/attack diagnosis, fault-tolerant and attack-resilient control, cooperative guidance, navigation, control, remote sensing and imaging processing for unmanned aerial/space/ground/marine vehicles with applications to forest fire monitoring and fighting, renewable energies, smart grids, and smart cities under the framework of cyber-physical systems. Dr. Zhang is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada, a Fellow of IEEE and CSME (Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering), and a Member of Technical Committee for several scientific societies. He is currently serving as International Director (Region 7) of IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS), a Member of IEEE Fellow Evaluation Committee (FEC) of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES). He is an Editorial (Advisory) Board Member, (Associate/Deputy) Editor-in-Chief (EIC), Editor/Associate Editor of more than 20 international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, Autonomous Systems & Applications (EIC), Chinese Journal of Aeronautics (Associate EIC), Guidance Navigation and Control (Deputy EIC), Information Processing in Agriculture, IET Smart Energy Systems, Smart Energy Systems Research, Journal of Intelligent and Robotic Systems, Unmanned Systems, Drones, Drone Systems and Applications, and Security and Safety etc. He has served as (Honorary) General Chair, Program Chair, and IPC Member of several autonomous/unmanned systems and renewable energies relevant international conferences.
